municipal airports could see cuts. >> reporter: well gasia, we are at buchanan field in concord. about 257 aircrafts take off and land on this runway every day. and the faa employees that work in this control tower right next to us, they guide those pilots in and out of the area safely. the control tower in this airport the ones in livermore, napa, santa rosa and concord are all on a list that may have their control towers shut down. if a deal on the federal budget isn't reached by the end of next week. a company that provides fuel, parking and other services to planes here say without a control tower, air traffic would plummet and business would nose dive. many of the corporate jets will not come to an airport without a control tower. he says those corporate jets make up about 80% of his business. >> it's really dangerous to operate without the tower. a lot of our business jet carriers will not surf the airport if they are shut down. i may be faced with having to lay employees off. >> reporter: over the phone he explained that most planes would still be able to take off and land here. es

dropping into the -- definitely want to bundle up. near freezing out near concord, 32 degrees, san francisco 41. high pressure still in full command of our weather and as a result a warming trend over the next few days and a bit of a northerly breeze developing. as far as temperatures for tomorrow, lots of 60s in the  forecast. later in the week we could be tracking a few upper 60s by thursday and friday. as far as the winds, overnight tonight into monday morning we could have some stronger gusts out near delta up above 1500 feet. here's our forecast mod will. lots of clear skies for monday. maybe a patch or two of fog tuesday morning. temperatures for tomorrow, not a big change from today but still pretty mild out there. san francisco at 60. sansan jose -- here is a look ahead your 5 day forecast and over the next few days i have tried hard to put a rain cloud into this forecast, but no luck. a warming pattern. upper 60s approaching the 70- degree mark. all we can do is maybe bring a few clouds in for saturday and sunday. but very dry over the next 5 to 10 days. hopefully that w

livermore. it is february. it is quarter to 6:00 p.m., 62 in concord. that is the high building. indicators things will be warmer tomorrow. nice today. upper 60s. coast was cooler but a nice day today. nicer tomorrow and friday looks like a stellar day as well. we need rain but it is not going to happen in the five-day forecast. frost in the morning, not everywhere. santa rosa, petaluma. look for that. areas of dense fog over night long the coast, as you expect, the high presses down, pushing the fog back to the coast. it is dry. intensification warms us up. as we go into thursday and friday, warmest days of the week. thursday and friday will be similar. low 70s on friday. maybe 69, 70 tomorrow. but next two days, thursday and friday look nice for warm weather. doesn't feel like february. over night lows represented with purples being 30s and these being 40s. this area here -- hard to see. 50s. afternoon hours the greens are 60s. yellows are 70s. brought brush of what -- broad brush of what you got. santa rosa, petaluma warmest spots tomorrow. santa rosa 70 degrees tomorrow. 66 fairfield. 6

for this time of night, this time of year. 62 napa. 63 concord. 61 fairfield. what do you say about weather like this? it is great. we love california. we love the climate. in order for california to function we need rain in the months of february, march and we need to get rain or it doesn't operate correctly. we have issues. i am concerned because the models are running dry. not a major concern. but growing up here, you are from here too, you know the feeling, you want to start seeing rain. hopefully we will get something but not this week. looks like next week will be dry as well. extended forecast, warmer weather as we go into friday and weekend. the jet stream, this high pressure stays to the north. yeah, unusual february. very unusual january. third driest in san francisco. the forecast highs tomorrow, 67 in napa. 65 antioch. 67 in santa rosa. more cities, lots of nice looking number. 60s. five-day forecast with your bay area weekend in view then lots of sunshine. again, great place but so pretty right now. weather is great but it is hard on the trees. i am not a farmer but i know when the
